Educational and Athletic Goals?

You can't get where you want to go without having a plan.  If you fail to plan, you plan to fail!

It is important to begin with the end in mind when setting your educational and athletic goals.

  • What kind of lifestyle do you want for yourself and family?
  • What kind of job will allow you to live that type of lifestyle?
  • What college degree program will you need in order to work in the field that you hope to pursue?
  • How can participating in college athletics help you earn your college degree?
  • What are you doing in high school to prepare you for your college education and athletics?

In a general sense:
  • What are the college and athletic goals of the student-athlete?
  • What are the goals of the parents for their child?
  • What are your current GPA and Class Rank?
  • Who has objectively evaluated the student-athletes’ talent?
  • What intercollegiate level is the student-athlete projected to compete at?
  • What are the families plan to achieve these goals?
